Details of the text messages Competition Ready sends, how consent is collected, and how to manage or stop them at any time.

Program Description
The Competition Ready Notifications program sends transactional text messages related to your Competition Ready account and competition registrations. This is not a marketing or promotional messaging program. Messages sent under this program include:
- Account security codes — one-time passcodes used for multi-factor authentication (MFA) when logging in or changing sensitive account settings.
- Identity verification codes — one-time passcodes used to verify your identity when electronically signing a competition's terms and conditions or waivers.
- Competition updates — optional notifications such as balance-due reminders and schedule updates, sent only for competitions you are registered with and only where that competition has enabled this notification type.
How Consent Is Collected
Mobile number collection and SMS consent happen directly within the Competition Ready platform at the point a message is relevant, never as a blanket or bundled opt-in:
- Account security (MFA): When a user chooses SMS as a multi-factor authentication method in their account security settings, they enter their mobile number and confirm a checkbox stating: "I agree to receive text messages containing one-time security codes from Competition Ready to verify my identity. Message and data rates may apply." Consent is confirmed when the user successfully enters the verification code sent to that number.
- Agreement / waiver e-signature: When a studio electronically signs a competition's terms and conditions, they enter a mobile number and confirm a checkbox stating: "I agree to receive a one-time text message with a verification code to complete my electronic signature. Message and data rates may apply."
- Competition update notifications: Where a competition offers optional SMS updates, a studio user opts in from their notification preferences with a checkbox stating: "I agree to receive transactional text updates (such as balance-due reminders and schedule changes) from this competition via Competition Ready. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help."
